The standard of education in Seinäjoki region is among the highest in Finland. Internationalisation can start at an early age, since we offer English-language day care services, comprehensive school education as well as vocational secondary and tertiary education. Our comprehensive schools provide a safe growth and learning environment from which students can continue to upper secondary and vocational schools.

 

University education is provided by the University Consortium of Seinäjoki, which involves the University of Tampere, the University of Helsinki, the University of Vaasa, the Sibelius Academy and Tampere University of Technology. These universities and a number of development organisations and companies operating in the region form Epanet, a co-operation network of Finnish universities in South Ostrobothnia whose aim is to strengthen the local community of researchers and development professionals as well as local research activities.

 

Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences has almost 5,000 students in five different units, six fields and 20 degree programmes. Also available are diverse adult education opportunities and several English-language degree programmes.
